About Andrew

Andrew Shaw is a REALTOR® with The Ellis Team who also leads the team’s technology, systems, and training. Alongside helping clients buy and sell across Greater Saint John, he builds the systems and tools the team runs on and heads up onboarding and training for new team members.

As the team’s AI specialist, Andrew built Agent Runway — an AI-powered platform currently in beta use across The Ellis Team — and is always looking for ways to help the team work smarter and serve clients better.

Before starting his real estate career in 2022, Andrew built a varied career across sales, tourism, and public service — including several years as a business specialist with the Canada Revenue Agency. That mix gave him a deep well of taxation knowledge, making him the team’s go-to tax champion and a valuable resource for clients thinking through the financial side of a move.

Beyond the office

Andrew grew up in Millidgeville and has called Rothesay home for the past 13 years, where he lives with his son and daughter.

Outside of work, he’s an avid traveller with a love for Europe and a deep fascination with ancient Roman history — he even took part in an archaeological dig at Ancient Ostia in 2016. He recently completed his first novel, The False Eagle, which follows a Canadian family of four who stumble upon an ancient mystery spanning two thousand years at their rented Tuscan villa.
