What it's like
Sussex serves the farms around it and the travellers between the cities, which gives the town more services than its size suggests. The valley setting puts genuine hills behind the main street, with Poley Mountain's ski runs twenty minutes out.
People move here on purpose: for horses, for a hobby farm, for a workshop bigger than the house. Both cities stay reachable when work demands it.
